Can I burn in _______________ township?

Please contact the specific township that you live in for directions on burn permits. Many have this information on their websites. Some municipalities do not allow burning of brush, leaves or any material.

Some things to keep in mind if your able to burn:

• Don't burn on windy days
• Keep the fire under control
• The fire must be attended at all times
• You must have a water source nearby and available
• Do not burn milled materials, ie 2x4's, shingles, garbage or plastics etc...

Remember, you are responsible for any damage you cause from burning.
